The Job

This role entails the development, validation and communication of data methodologies and algorithms used in Xandr’s TV Platform. The TV platform enables buyers and sellers to transact advanced TV advertising campaigns, and the integrity of data and performance of optimization algorithms is an essential element of the platform’s value. Related, clearly communicating our methodologies to relevant stakeholders, building trust through transparency, is an important part of the role.The role is part of the TV Platform Research and Data Team and also involves collaboration with the broader Xandr Data Science organization and other Xandr teams on select projects.

You Will

  • Develop and specify new methodologies for use in the TV Platform, including TV campaign forecasting and optimization, and effectiveness/attribution measurement.
  • Validate existing methodologies to identify potential enhancements.
  • Work with Engineering teams to implement and maintain methodologies in the TV Platform
  • Assess new data sources that may be used in the TV Platform.
  • Provide statistical and methodological support for TV campaigns in the platform, working with our Product and Customer Success teams.
  • Create support materials to describe data and methodologies.

    You Have

    • 3+ Years Relevant Work Experience
    • Master’s Degree in Statistics or similar
    • Knowledge of Statistical Optimization Techniques
    • Experience with R, Python or similar programming language

    Preferred But Not Essential

    • Familiarity with TV Research Data sets e.g. Nielsen
    • Experience utilizing AWS analytic services such as Redshift and Spectrum
