The Job

We are looking for an Analyst who is a creative problem solver with knowledge of or curiosity in complex ecosystems like Xandr’s programmatic advertising exchange. You will be joining a team of Commercial Analysts and will be laser focused on our Demand Partners, including Google’s Display & Video 360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Criteo, Yahoo DSP, and more. You will design, build, and monitor a robust reporting program that generates proactive and actionable insights for your Commercial, Services, and Engineering partners. In this client facing role, you are effective in developing and communicating sophisticated data analysis and insights to internal stakeholders and clients in important meetings and quarterly business reviews that address key business opportunities and challenges.

The Team

The Commercial Analytics team is part of the North America Commercial and Global Partnerships organization that provides data-driven insights, direction on sales strategy, and operating performance on Xandr’s programmatic advertising marketplace. We are essential partners to our Commercial counterparts, focusing on each business line and Commercial leadership decision making.

You Will

  • Guide Demand Partners with data-driven strategy, maintaining tight alignment with our stakeholders to ensure client onboarding and growth are executed with excellence and in alignment with commercial objectives and KPIs
  • Drive adoption of our GTM products by developing innovative test and learn analyses backed with data
  • Manage back-end databases, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Analyze Xandr’s vibrant ecosystem of buyers and sellers by focusing on immediate, medium, and long-term revenue opportunities
  • Develop new database and analytics language capabilities and teach them to others to expand the technical skillset of our team (and company)
  • Build and expand the overall Analytics practice at Xandr by developing training materials, customer facing assets, and internal resources
  • Solve ambiguous challenges with a creative analytical approach to deliver actionable insights
  • Communicate findings to management, clients, and our partners effectively, using sound analysis, presentation, and business judgement
  • Master Xandr’s database structure, compiling, manipulating, and displaying data and insights from large datasets
  • Develop and maintain essential commercial dashboards in partnerships with key stakeholders and partners

You Have

  • 3-5 years of years of experience in an Analytical role (programmatic or ad tech solutions experience a plus)
  • A quantitatively oriented degree preferred
  • Proven knowledge and experience with data automation, visualization, and dashboarding (PowerBI cloud a plus)
  • Experience setting, managing, and communicating priorities and expectations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion to impose structure on seemingly undefined problems
  • Demonstrable skills and experience with SQL, relational databases, and Python preferred
  • Possess both the analytical and creative ability to make transformative ideas happen by developing a vision and getting it done
  • Passionate about asking questions, listening, drawing people out, synthesizing, and articulating information, ideas and needs
  • Mastery of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
