Account Executive - Publishers

New York, New York


The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business with digital publishers to Xandr. This person will be responsible for driving the new business sales strategy for both display and CTV. We are looking for a sales executive with a consistent record of prospecting, winning and closing deals with publishers. This role is perfect for someone who is highly self-motivated, has a passion for problem solving and is seeking a role with direct and significant impact on the short and long-term success of the company.

About the team:

The Publisher Sales team is a driven and results-oriented organization that helps bring Xandr’s digital advertising products to market. Our focus is building our Publisher clients’ businesses through leading-edge technology solutions, intuitive and effective ad serving tools, and strategic business consulting. We develop and nurture relationships with a wide range of publishers to help them more effectively reach their target audience through real-time ad serving, allowing them to manage and grow their digital advertising business. Our team is seeking innovative, passionate, and driven people who can foster strong client relationships, meet sales quotas, and drive awareness of our products, all whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment.

About the job:

  • Own the entire sales cycle; qualify inbound leads, build creative strategies for outbound prospecting, close deals and ensure successful implementations
  • Engage in strategic conversations with senior- and C-level client executives to develop an understanding of their business and technical challenges, operating environment, capabilities and goals
  • Effectively manage inbound lead flow and execute outbound prospecting initiatives
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations: Listening and understanding each prospect's individual goals and challenges; accurately assess individual customer needs and issues to recommend appropriate features, benefits and value of Xandr
  • Help manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce
  • Help clients troubleshoot technical implementations when necessary to ensure client activation
  • Provide input from client feedback to cross-functional teams to help shape product roadmap
  • Share your learnings within a team environment to help others succeed

About your skills and experience:

  • Sales or account management experience; work in AdTech, OTT/ CTV a plus
  • Able to promote/sell ideas persuasively 
  • You are a complex problem solver; not only are you able to effectively uncover a client’s business challenge, but you are able to makethoughtful recommendations on how to solve them 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present and influence clients and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrate ability to hit/ exceed revenue targets in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of internal teams
  • 3--7 years of work experience; work in Advertising Technology and/or CTV a plus
